Preparing for a walking marathon

In September 2015 I did the Shine walk for Mcmillan Cancer Support. Unfortunately this led to having problems with my feet and nine months later I am still unable to run or play tennis, my true passion. But that shouldn’t put you off what is a fun and very worthy event. Instead it is vital you prepare properly and do all you can to survive the experience.

In this blog I’ll be talking about how I prepared, what to do and what not to do, and my ongoing battle against the dreaded Plantar Fasciitis.
